HELP KEEP BULLDOGS OUT OF RESCUE IN THE FUTURE - BE A RESPONSIBLE BREEDER

HOW CAN BREEDERS HELP BULLDOG RESCUE?

Bulldog Rescue encourage breeders to support Bulldog Rescue, by working together we can help prevent bulldogs from coming into rescue in the future.

There is no need to view our service with fear or shame. Apart from all rescue activity being confidential we also keep a close eye on the dogs we have rehomed so should you find yourself in the position of having to find a new home for something you've bred don't be afraid to ask for our help - together we can ensure that every bulldog has a place of safety regardless of who his breeder was.

Besides, surely it's better that any bulldog ends up with us as opposed to the RSPCA or as a free ad on Facebook?

Dogs rehomed through rescue have:

  • A safe placement in a vetted pet home that suits that dogs individual needs
  • Information detailing bulldog care and known history for that particular dog
  • An adoption form preventing new owners from breeding, showing or selling their bulldog
  • A nominal adoption fee which allows Bulldog Rescue to continue their service
  • Someone keeping an eye on them
  • A safety net for the future

We are also available for advice to bulldog owners and new breeders

>>BACK TO BREEDER SCHEME

Every year many bulldogs come through bulldog rescue who could happily be returned to their breeder. The Law in this country states that once a dog is sold, even with a contract, the breeder has no future claim to that dog. We are often asked by breeders to let them know if anything they bred has come through bulldog rescue but it's impossible for us to remember everyone that has said it. To combat this we have a scheme that allows breeders to register their interest in getting a dog back or at the very least be informed if we are asked to rehome a dog they have bred. It now costs nothing to join and all we require is a microchip number so we can check the number against our data base before we rehome the dog

>>Advertise Your Litter on Our Web Site

Please don't use ePupz, advertise your litter on our web site, we will only accept your advert if you meet our responible breeder criteria so potential buyers can immediatley see that you care about what you are breeding

>>Use Our Rehoming Service

Many breeders are asked to take back dogs later in life for a great number of reasons. Bulldog Rescue can help you find that new home - there's much more to finding a good home then simply finding someone that wants a bulldog and we have over 10 years experience of getting it right. You don't even have to give us the dog, just ask us to find a home
