Diego is a 6 year old, white and fawn male, currently in the NG postcode area of the West Midlands
Diego is a very lovely chap with a lot of love and affection to give to his new family. He used to share his home with another Bulldog who he lived with happily (except when there were toys around when they would fight). The other Bulldog sadly passed and lots of other changes during the last 6 months, including 3 house moves have resulted in some behaviour changes. When he is left alone for 1.5 hrs or more, he will show them how much he misses them by toileting in the house, lately this has also been at night time, and he can bark at nighttime too. He wasn't doing this when the other dog was living with him. The family, who absolutely adore him have less time to give him now. They have come to the decision after exhausting all other possibilities, that it would be best for him to be rehomed. Their ideal home is an older or retired couple who home all day, Bulldog experience a plus but not essential, who will walk him as many times as he needs. He enjoys several short walks a day and when he spends time with his grandma he doesn't usually mess. I believe he is stressed from the house moves and losing his friend. He could be rehomed with another dog that does not play with toys and this could help with his behaviour by making him feel secure. He needs a patient family who will give him the time and space to adjust to his new surroundings and work on his separation anxiety. He is excellent with the family's 5 year old boy from birth, but due to these behaviour issues and his need to have lots of time and attention a home without children would be best. No cats please and either no dogs or one dog who doesn't have toys. He has no apparent health issues, no allergies and is wonderful family dog. Are you his forever family? xx
